Spain is the third most popular tourist destination in the world, attracting over 75 million visitors a year. People are drawn to its wonderful weather, its beaches and mountains, the charm of its cities, its cultural wealth and variety, its food, and its modern network of infrastructures.

In addition to all its marvels and charms, it offers a wide variety of venues to host conventions and congresses and one of the best healthcare systems in the world. So more and more people who visit us, decide to return.

The figures confirm the sector’s growth trend and the appeal of Spain’s tourist offer: in 2016 Spain set a new record for inbound tourism, receiving 75.3 million international tourists (7.2 million more than in 2015). These visitors spent 77,000 million euros, a historic figure and 8.3% higher than the previous year.
